This class is the best example of reduce, reuse and recycle while creating a versatile and practical rug for your home.  Using old sheets, pillowcases, t-shirts, fabric and old clothing that you would like to recycle.  Want to add a pop of color?  Hit the ugly bolt fabric sales that are reduced to $1.00/yard.  These colors make a fabulous contrast and a great place to use this high-quality, inexpensive cloth. We will explore a couple different methods of creating a braided rug so you can pick the method you prefer.

This class will meet Saturday morning August 16th and a second class will meet August 17th from 9:00 to 3:00.  Course fee is $30.00.  This is an instruction course and you will need to show up with your fabric, some sharp scissors and your sandwich or lunch.  We will have refreshments and snacks.  You will leave at the end of the day with your rug well on its way so you can work on it at home  and make it as large as you want.  This is one of the most satisfying classes to recycle and reuse by making a rug to beauty your home and warm your heart.  You will want to make many more simply for the joy, the satisfaction and peace of mind.  You will be happy you signed up for this feel good class.
