Happy Spring! It sure has been a long, long winter here in the North East and many of my friends across the country are feeling the same. This sure has been quite a winter or so they say, “another one for the books.” I am so looking forward to the first daffodils to peak out through that last little bit of poor man’s fertilizer that my Dad always called those Spring snowstorms. On a happy note, the sun is so high in the sky and I can almost smell Spring some of these warmer days. Sending you all good thoughts and warm sunshine.
This past week we found a gem of a spin to Spring clean out to you at great savings. Cotton Clouds is a super soft cotton with a wee bit of elastic for a special project. I have made several items with this yarn and have enjoyed the process and the end result. To name just a few items; baby sweaters and caps, Chemo hats and beanies, socks, socks and more socks…. Do you remember Humpty Dumpty Socks? They were the only socks I could keep on my boys’ feet when they were kicking and squirming. Well, Cotton Clouds is perfect for all these projects.
A generous 500 yards and so great to work with. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed working with this yarn as Cotton isn’t my favorite usually unless it is a blend. I assure you that this is a good experience. Available in limited supply of 4 colors right now. We will continue to dye in small batch colorways until this spin is gone. Now, I can’t say that I haven’t been adding to my stash here and there. LOL Check it out here https://ryd.isd.mybluehost.me/product-category/cotton-cloud/
